Avril Lavigne’s Black Star Fragrance

My youngest daughter, Sarah, is a big Avril Lavigne fan. I think it’s the image of a tough, but still girly that gets her. Plus, she’s a fellow guitar player and she loves to sing (which drives her older sister crazy).  I get what she likes about Avril’s style – pink, black, skulls. Sarah loves it all.

Kohls carries a line of Avril Lavigne-designed clothing for juniors and girls (sizes 7-16) called Abbey Dawn. It features jeans, vests, tees, hats, bags, watches, jewelry, pretty much anything the young popstar wanna-be could want or need for back to school.

Here’s the part that Sarah is really going to love – now she can smell like Avril, too. (Is that a good thing?) Black Star, Lavigne’s new fragrance with a “soft fruity scent,” is now available at Kohls. It’s fairly reasonably priced for a celebrity scent  with the 1 ounce Eau de Perfume running $29.00 and the 1.7 ounce size bottle at $39.00.  

Fragrance notes: Pink Hibiscus Flower, Black Plum, Dark Chocolate.

Interesting choice of notes. I’m going to run Sarah over there tomorrow to check it out.
