Beautiful Budget Friendly Bags

You’ve seen a lot of fantastic high-end bags now let’s take a look at the more budget friendly handbags! It’s true, you don’t have to spend lots of money to score a great handbag. The key is to look for bags in classic, versatile styles, rich colours and sturdy materials.

The Fossil Talita Leather Hobo ($158) is a great hobo that will take you easily from work to play. The bag is available in camel brown (shown), green, purple and rust. The style is simple but versatile and the soft pleating on the leather is a nice touch.

This gorgeous purple B. Makowsky Kiev Hobo ($268) looks as if it should cost more but lucky for you it doesn’t! It’s made of supple leather and also comes in black, white, shitake (brown) and sage. The hardware details are what makes this hobo stand out. Definitely pick this up if you’re looking for an update to your basic hobo.

Another great bag is this Anne Klein Diamond Cut Medium Hobo ($188, on sale for $131.68!). Another fabulous soft leather hobo with woven metal mesh eyelets and stud details. Shown in this lovely Ivory, it’s also available in black and pale canyon (brown).

The iconic MICHAEL Michael Kors Astor Shoulder Tote ($398) gets a makeover for summer in this pretty sunny hue. You’ll find all the classic details found in an Astor bag; the bold nailhead studs, signature MK tag and a cool chain strap. It’s also comes in different colours; black, luggae (brown) and vanilla.

They’re all pretty cute and they’re all under $500! All of the bags above are available at Macys.  When you’re in the market for a new handbags, it’s best to go for leather or bags made in sturdy materials. You’ll want to get something that will look good for a long time and won’t fall apart on you.  Pay attention to the details like stitching, fastening and linings as those are usually where most “cheap” bags tend to fail.  :)
