The ladies over at the Beauty Blog Network are such enablers. One post about a rave for their beauty products, or gadgets of choice, I am suddenly crushed for I just spent all my shopping money last week ago.Lianne of TheMakeupGirl’s message over the groups has caught my attention when she raved about the Maxiglide Hair Straightener. It’s very affordable at $79, along with alot of goodies, but as I browsed over at Stylebell for more great deals, I’ve found the Miniglide Hair Straightener. Take a look at its price – it’s only $29.95!
Strategically placed ceramic-coated pins that work like a fine comb. Detangling pins feature smooth, rounded ends to protect hair’s sensitive cuticle. You can completely detangle the hair to the very end at a rate of 0.3 millimeter (detangling property), like a fine comb.
A unique feature about the Miniglide ( and Maxiglide, for that matter ) are their ceramic-coated pins that act as combs to detangle the hair as it smoothens it as a hair iron would. Very impressive – but beware , make sure you comb your hair before using the hair iron, do not use this as a comb! Tangled hair trapped in heat sounds kinda scary!
One problem about the Miniglide is that it doesn’t have a Steam Burst System, because as the Miniglide is meant for shorter hair, it is much nearer to the scalp, and it wouldn’t be so good to have steam on your hair. ( yeowch ). But, does it fare as well as the Maxiglide? That, I’d love to know, just because I’m on the lookout for a smaller, travel-friendly hair iron that I can bring with me for my travels. I’ve booked two flights abroad, and I don’t know if I should be bringing such big hair irons with me – I don’t know. Well, let’s see!
