Love the gladiator thing, if well done. I actually think these are not so gladiator-like that they’ll go out of style soon.

They zip up the back, as well, so you won’t be fumbling to strap your feet in random places. That’s the biggest annoyance of my current gladiator heels. Don’t take those type to the beach, your friends will hate you.
