Best Scents For Spring

Spring has sprung and for many people that means getting outdoors as much as possible. It also means lighter layers, brighter colored-clothing, and an all-around festive feel. Spring is traditionally a time of regrowth or rebirth, joy and romance.

I like to wear a scent that echoes those feelings. Something in a floral, but no too flowery, not too sweet. I recently tried LaCoste’s  fragrance Love Of Pink. It’s my daugther’s Spring-time signature scent and it’s new this season.

I like a base with some warmth and depth, a good grounding note. My favorite scent right now is Mantra.  It’s a honeyed-musk with floral notes.  It makes me think about working in the garden, with the sun warm on my back. A really delicious scent.

Spring is a good time to dip into your solid scents. The warmth of your skin and the lighter layers of your clothing will allow the scent to escape in a way that it can’t during the colder, more bundled up months of Winter. Something like DKNY’s new Be Delicious solid perfume keychain would be perfect, with it’s fresh fruit and floral notes. Heading out to a picnic, clip it onto your belt loop and you are good to go.

Whatever you chose, keep in mind that scent is very personal and no matter what the season, chose something that you feel represents you in a unique way.
