Breast Cancer Awareness: Venus Embrace

All three of us – my two daughters and myself – use the Venus Embrace razor. We like the moisture strips, the way they make a protective barrier on the skin when you shave. I believe it’s a safe choice for a new-shaver, like my youngest daughter, Sarah, to use.
I was sent a Special Edition Venus Embrace of the shaver in pink – pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As usual, I love the razor.
The purpose of the pink razor is to remind you to conduct monthly self-breast exams in the shower. Why the shower? Well, it’s the easiest place to do the self-exam. Change your razor blade monthly, do your exam the same day. (Like changing the battery on your smoke detector the same day you turn the clock ahead or behind for daylight savings). The Special Edition Venus Embrace is accessorized with a how-to booklet for self exams.
