Breast Cancer Awareness: Windows Of Love

A few days ago, I wrote about Mariah Carey’s Forever Eau de Parfum that ULTA is carrying. A percentage of the sale of Forever directly benefits Breast Cancer research. Today, I want to tell you a little bit about their Windows of Love program. During the month of October the windows of ULTA stores will carry the personal messages of women who have been affected by Breast Cancer – survivors, family members, friends.

“As a company dedicated to empowering women, breast cancer awareness month holds a particular significance for all of us at ULTA and is the Inspiration behind our WINDOWS OF LOVE™ campaign.  I’d like to invite each of your who have been personally affected by breast cancer in some way to share your story in a letter and we’ll post it in our store windows.  It is our hope that during the month of October the windows at ULTA will be filled with your letters of love that honor and encourage the millions of women facing this disease and your letters that pay tribute to the un unsung heroes who have provided the strength and support in helping in your fight. Inspiration is a BEAUTIFUL emotion to experience.”

Take your letters in to ULTA and while you are there, if you make a donation of $1 you can register for win beauty products – each store will have one winner. The drawing will be held on October 31, 2009. If you donate $10 or more, you will receive a scarf or hat in pink with the word “love” on it. All donations go to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. ULTA hopes to raise a minimum of $50,000 for the cause.
