Broke Is The New Black

I usually try to stay away from writing about things you can buy at Urban Outfitters. Why? Because they may look indie, but don’t be fooled, good ole UO is corporate all the way. As a former employee, I can say this with assurance. Still, let’s be honest. Unless you are 100% dedicated to an all independent lifestyle, you probably shop there every now and again. I was at the UO in the French Quarter this weekend and found something that I just have to share.

If your life is anything like mine, then you know that broke is, indeed, the new black. This healthily ironic slogan comes to us on a very soft, very long racerback tank. The fit was a little weird on me, so I didn’t buy one, but I’m crossing my fingers for the same shirt in a new cut. Knowing UO, I won’t have to wait long. And it seems to look perfect here on Sandy Nguyen, so maybe you’ll have better luck than me. Available for $24 from Urban Outfitters.
