Carolina Herrera Polka Dot Silk Dress

Sometimes I wish my job was more glamorous. Other days, when I find a nice pair of jeans and a comfy t-shirt, I think “Why, oh why, do people put on skirts, dresses, and nice shoes on a daily basis when you can work somewhere where jeans and flip-flops are the norm?” Then I find something like this Carolina Herrera-Polka Dot  Silk Dress from Saks Fifth Avenue for $2,190 makes me feel like dressing up for at least a week. 

 The dots differentiate, so they don’t look too boring. I am always afraid of that when I look at dresses with polka dots. They’re either boring or overwhelming. These are perfect.  Along with the altering polka dots, the ruffles add some retro styling to the look.
