Carrera Sunglasses are Hot Item in Italy

I just returned from a beautiful trip to the Amalfi Coast in Italy and while I was there I spent lots of time soaking in the popular Italian fashions (and the Mediterranean sun!). It seems that if you want to be fashionable in Italy, you must be sporting a pair of Carrera sunglasses!

About a month ago I discovered the sporty and affordable Italian brand Carrera for chic plastic aviator sunglasses, but I didn’t realize until I went to Italy how popular these racing style sunglasses are! Not only were designer sunglass boutiques filling their display windows with them, but also every street corner had tables selling cheap knock-offs. I have barely been able to find Carrera sunglasses in America, but in Italy every teenager and fashionista was sporting a pair in a variety of different styles and colors.

These Carrera Champion sunglasses are the style that I saw repeated in every color you can imagine. They are available in turquoise, white with red, blonde havana, or black with yellow at Bloomingdales for $120.00.
Carrera is an Italian brand so there were many more styles available in Italy than I have been able to find in the U.S., but I will keep searching for them and share them when I am able to find them. All of the styles are available to order online at Carrera World.
