Caudalie Beauty Elixir: the anti-toner

Oh, Caudalie, with your grape-seed polyphenals, which fight against aging. Your legendary Vinotherapie Spas (someday, Bordeaux, someday) and your endless array of amazing products christened with names like Sauvignon Scrub and Fleur de Vigne Soap. You are truly a star in the cosmos of skincare.
Sadly, I’m not in a position to drop megabucks on the whole Caudalie line, but there is one fab product that keeps me coming back for more.
Beauty Elixir (which ranges in price from $10 to $49) is dubbed an “anti-dull complexion treatment,” but could as easily be called “A toner for skin that hates toners.”
My skin doesn’t fully appreciate toners. They’re usually way too drying and leave my face feeling and looking a bit tight and flaky. Beauty Elixir, however, delivers both that invigorating freshness you expect from a toner, along with a whole cadre of moisturizing, natural ingredients, including grape extracts, organic balm mint and mint extract oils, and the essential oils of rosemary, orange blossom, rose, benzoin and myrrh.
Spray the elixir to your face before applying moisturizer or night cream. Or, do what I do and keep a small bottle in your purse for an impromptu skin lift me up.
