Chiffon Bloom from Anthropologie

I love the return of romantic and vintage inspired accessories this spring.  I came across this gorgeous image of an oversize gray bloom made from crinkled chiffon and mesh.

The entire look has a lovely ethereal feel with the soft spring colors of the gray bloom and the layered scarf.  I really must have this entire look!  I love the spring style of pairing white short sleeves with a light spring scarf and then adding the accent of the oversize flower.  The flower is a clip, which makes it more versatile than the headband styles that are also popular.  It can be worn as a hairpiece or clipped to a lapel or neckline.

Gray is one of my favorite colors for just about everything, so I think it’s great to see a flower crafted in this slightly unexpected color.  I would love to find a real rose in gray!  The Full Bouquet Clip is available online at Anthropologie for $18 in gray, pink, or coral.  Perhaps I need all three colors…
