Chloé fragrances releases their newest scent, Chloé Eau de Parfum Intense, next month, September, 2009. It takes the original Chloé Eau de Parfum fragrance one step further with the addition of oriental notes Pink Pepper, Sandalwood, and Tonka Bean. The fragrance was created by perfumers Michel Almairac and Amandine Marie (Robertet).
There’s nothing that I love more than a rich oriental and the new Chloé Intense did not disappoint me. I had 5 different lady friends smell it and one of the comments was very interesting to me. My friend, Leah, said that it reminded her of something from her childhood. I felt the same way when I first smelled it. I still have not pin-pointed the exact memory it is attached to, but it’s related to the powdery aspect of the fragrance. It’s very warm, womanly.
It is both modern and vintage at the same time – a mysterious mixture. Chloé Intense is elegant, the sort of fragrance that makes a woman more aware of her posture or makes her feel dressed up even when she’s only wearing blue jeans.
