If you love wearing false eyelashes to get that glamour girl look, then you are in luck. For fall, ultra-long lashes are going to be very trendy. But if you don’t like the hassle of putting on fake lashes, then you can still embrace the trend by using a lengthening mascara. Recently, I had an opportunity to try out the new CoverGirl LashBlast Length Mascara that is hitting stores this fall and I was really impressed.

This mascara is created from a unique formula that contains actual nylon fibers (the same material used for lash extensions). Their flexible Elasta-Nylon formula provides super long, beautiful lashes that don’t flake or break all day. It’s a non-clumping formula with a long brush (CoverGirl’s longest brush ever) to give you perfect precision and the ability to reach corner-to-corner.

LashBlast Length Mascara comes in four shades — Very-Black, Black, Brown-Black and Brown. It will be available at mass-market retailers beginning in September for $7.49 SRP.

If you want to try it, you may be able to get this mascara for early purchase online starting August 17, 2009. Quantities will be limited but you can check it out and make your purchases at covergirl.com/lashblastlength (website won’t be live until the 17th).

This is one of my favorite drugstore brand mascaras that I have tried in a while. I’m not one of those women that was graced with uber long lashes naturally, so I adore a good lengthening mascara. This one is definitely top-notch!
