Crease-proof Cream Eyeshadow

Though I generally use powder eye shadow, I love experimenting with other formulas too. There are a lot of wonderful gels, wands, creams and creamy pencils that produce amazing eye color too. Here are a couple of these products that I use from time to time.

Laura Mercier Satinee Creme Eye Colour – $22
This long-wearing formula is water-resistant and crease-proof. The only thing that I don’t like about this product is the application isn’t easy. You have to dispense it into your hand (or another container) and then apply it with a brush. The color is very nice though — soft, pearly and long-lasting.

Clinique Quick Eyes Cream Eye Shadow – $15
Ultra-convenient, this wand is perfect for on-the-go makeup. I have used this Clinique product on and off for years. It glides on smooth and lasts all day. Be careful not to get it on your eyelashes during application, or you’ll have to start all over again. I love the pink for summertime and at $15, it’s a fabulous buy.

Do you use any eye shadow other than powder? Leave your comments here and let us know which ones work the best for you. Some cream eye shadows tend to fade and crease easily. So try to use a primer before application.
