Check out his tips, below, for creating a really fun and festive updo in five easy steps.
1) Start by misting hair with Controller Conditioning Spray then blow dry hair straight
2) Comb all hair back as if you are about to make a ponytail, but twist hair up instead to form an upside down French Twist
3) Keep on twisting hair upward until you’ve almost hit the hairline tucking ends under and securing tightly with bobby pins
4) Accent an up-do with a feather or piece of tulle positioned perfectly toward the back of the head, off to one side
5) Finish off this elegant look with Umberto’s Super Hold Hair Spray and a touch of Shimmer Shine Spray
After you create your fabulous updo, know how to accessorize it…I normally wear my own long blond hair down. When it’s up, my neck and ears suddenly feel naked! Use the chance to wear flashy long earrings and show off a little of your personal style – it’ll add just another element to your style!
