creating my own bird jewelry

April 18, 2008 by Chloe Findlay-Harder

I shared some of my favorite picks with you all when I was trying to track down a particular bird necklace.  I still haven’t found the perfect one, but I did find a charm with two birds sitting on a branch on it.  It’s got a little empty nest between them – they look forlorn somehow.

I decided to take matters into my own hands and glued three little robin’s egg blue beads into the nest.  I attached a plain silver curb chain to the ends.  I’m quite pleased with how it turned out!

I would love to know where you found the charm, I’m looking for one like that! :)

  3. I actually found it at Michaels Arts & Crafts. It was awhile ago, so I don’t know if they still have them in stock – but it’s worth checking :-)
