Creative Scentualizations – Perfect Gardenia perfume

Gardenia is one of those binary notes, in my opinion. Either you love it, or you just can’t do it. I’m pretty much in the ‘can’t do it’ camp, but I respect the gardenia. It’s a big, white, floral mama of a flower. It can stand on its own, just like rose. Many great classics are built upon its creamy white petals. Not surprisingly, this reminds me of both Marc Jacobs AND the new Bond no. 9 scent, Saks Fifth Avenue for her. I believe it’s the freesia (slightly soapy, slightly carnation-spicy) that sets this apart. Perfect Gardenia perfume

the scoop
The first of the Perfect Perfumes and still one of the top sellers. This gorgeously authentic gardenia scent captures the heady luxuriousness of that exotic flower. Beguiling, with the creamy sweetness of an actual fresh gardenia, but not cloying or overpowering like so many gardenia fragrances can be. A modern take on a long time glamour girl favorite. Perfect Gardenia notes
gardenia, vanilla, musk, bergamot, freesia
