Earlier this weekend I caught a woman wearing a denim tuxedo. You know the look, denim from head to toe. She had on a denim vest and jeans on. I wish I had the heart to tell her it was fashion faux pax. Alas, I wasn’t going to walk up to complete stranger and say, “Hey! You look a mess…in your denim tuxedo! You shouldn’t be wearing denim from top to bottom!”

I love denim, don’t get me wrong. I’m wearing jeans right now, but I don’t think I’ve worn a denim vest since 1991. Yikes! Thinking about wearing the two together gives me the creeps. Anyway. If you love the matchy-matchy look of denim, then consider putting it together in a dress.
