Are you familiar with Diamond in the Rough? The Diamond in the Rough line was launched back in 2003 as a fashion statement, their goal is to infuse the beauty of rough-cut, unpolished, natural diamonds into the mainstream. A long, long time ago those fashionable Kings and Queens wore jewelry made of rough diamonds and today you can do the same! Oh and you’ll be happy to know all diamonds used by Diamond in the Rough are conflict-free, certified natural diamonds.
I browsed through their selection and they’ve got such amazing pieces! The following gorgeous gems would make fantastic gifts for your friends and loved ones.

The Diamond in the Rough Champagne Bubbles necklace is absolutely amazing! It really does look like those fizzy champagne bubbles doesn’t it? This necklace is handcrafted in 18-karat white gold with a toggle clasp and 16″ chain. It features 17 rough diamonds (about 15.43 carats – oh my!) and accented by 0.95 carats of micro-pavé diamonds. All those diamonds will cost ya a pretty penny, though. About $22K to be exact. Pricey but oh so beautiful, right?
Ok let me show you something that won’t hurt the wallet as much…

Another lovely piece from the collection is this Band Ring. At $5,500. it’s still expensive but no less as gorgeous. This lovely ring is made of 18-karat white gold with pavé diamond insets. The rough diamond center is about 1.58 carats and the micropavé diamonds are 0.32 carats. This ring would definitely be a showcase piece to give that special someone.
You can purchase both of these Diamond in the Rough pieces at Neiman Marcus or Bergdorf Goodman.
