Chloe already mentioned the attack of the pom-poms at the DVF show earlier this week…but did the hats distract from the real stars of the show, the dresses?
Thank you God, I could not go a day without seeing animal print! This dress is a mishmash of animal prints with a cinched in waist. I like how it has some animal print, but it isn’t overboard. It can obviously translate from runway to real world. The sandals with socks, not too much, though. The hat. oh my. I’ve seen worse though. However, if you live somewhere cold, this could be an awesome statement piece! Make it yours!
I adore this sweater. It is totally old lady enough to grab and go, but can class up an outfit as well…like DVF has done here. The classic LBD is a classic Diane Von Furstenburg dress as well. It’s wrapped with a bit a color differentiation..or at least that is how it looks to me. And just like the Nicole Miller show, there is a splash of red throughout. So, my readers, incest in some red! This hat, though, is a very loud though. I don’t know if I would make this my statement piece for the winter season. Would you?
I am in love with this wrap/sweater. I want it right now. I will take it everywhere I go. I might do away with the pom poms at the bottom (and good translation throughout the collection!) because my cats would eat it, but otherwise..it looks super comfy. The dress, looks amazing as well. I like the grey color with a dash of silver feather detail. And ankle boots, yet again. They’re in yet again!
I did not find the top half of this outfit, but nonetheless..check out those leg warmers! Uh oh..the eighties really are back! And I kind of like them. And by kind of..I mean..really like them. I love that light pink color. The sandals with tights I can pass on. The bright pink clutch you can probably find somewhere during the summer season, so good news! Bright colors are also a key piece in your winter wardrobe!
And look who was also there…
Olivia Palermo from The City was backstage working the runway.
And my lovely Whitney, of course was there. I love her coat!
