boot dryer“If you “force-dry” wet boots, shoes or gloves in front of a heater or on a radiator, the leather is more likely to crack, split and deteriorate prematurely. But our multi-purpose dryer uses gently flowing, room-temperature air to slowly dry soggy footwear and gloves from inside and out. Hinged seat/top supports up to 350 lbs., so you can sit on it to remove your footwear. Whisper-quiet fan with on/off switch. Drip lip contains water and melting snow to protect flooring. Rustproof structural polypropylene. UL-listed adapter. 10″ x 16″x 15″ tall.”

Well, we have certainly come a long way from those cones that I can remember sitting over the vent to be blasted with hot hair. No wonder the items never quite looked so good afterward. And did you notice that this gadget can also double as a seat to remove those boots. Now that could come in very handy!!
