Have you had a chance to smell the new limited-edition fragrance by Escada? It’s called Moon Sparkle, and while its name and packaging might evoke images of young beach-loving girls dousing themselves with it before kissing their boy toys under the moonlight, this is truly a fragrance for women of all ages.
I received a sample of this scent when I bought my old stand-by (the glorious Coco Mademoiselle). The clerk told me it was “really fruity”, so I immediately expected to hate it. When I got home, I gave it a sniff on my way to throw it out in the garbage…and I’ve been hooked ever since!
Yes, it’s fruity. Most definitely. Its top notes are of Strawberry and Black Currant. You can also pick out a citrus component, as well as some delicate florals like Sweet Pea, Freesia, Jasmine and Rose. Mix that together with a base of creamy woods and you have a winner.
I hate to say it (especially since Lawd knows Coco Mademoiselle isn’t cheap!) but all my other scents are taking a back seat to this one for the entire summer. It just puts you in a great “anything can happen” mood. Makes you lively and determined and open. And of course, it gives you that sensual, womanly feel that all scents should.
Remember, this fragrance is limited edition, as is true with many other Escada scents. You can visit their site to request a free sample, or hit your local department store to see if they have any. When you’re ready to buy, you can find this where all high-end fragrances are sold, or you can find it at Sephora and Amazon.
Let us know what you think of this awesome summer scent. I have a feeling this is one that will be a mainstay for many, many sexy ladies this summer. Enjoy!
