Fall 2009 Handbag Trends Part 4

One of the few recurring fall handbag trends we see every year is the red handbag. No other colour can make such a statement as a red bag. It can look subdued and even neutral yet it can be used as a pop of colour or accent piece as well.
If you love handbags and want to incorporate a red handbag into your collection, you’re in luck because there are quite a few to choose from for fall.
Jimmy Choo Tassel Hobo ($1895)
Prada Chain Strap Hobo ($795)
Salvatore Ferragamo Gancio Nappa Levante Shoulder Bag ($1290)
Jimmy Choo Lohla Patent Hobo ($1995)
Dior Panarea Medium Tote ($890)
As you can see from the bags above, they incorporate the other fall 2009 trends. There’s texture with the suede Prada and the quilted Dior and we also see a lot of high shine with the Jimmy Choo patent leather hobo.
Which one would you choose? For me it’s a toss up between the Dior and that killer patent leather Jimmy Choo. Both shades of red are fantastic and both bags will look wonderful year after year. All of these bags are available at Neiman Marcus online and in stores now.
