The Farmaesthetics skincare line was established in 1999 by Brenda Brock when she began to sell her products from an organic farm.
Brenda’s skincare recipes blend the “kitchen chemistry” of her rural farming heritage with the modern science of cosmetic manufacturing.
The skin care line features products which are free from preservatives, parabens, dyes and petroleum. They use organically grown herbs and flowers and put a new light on the term sustainable beauty.
This introductory 6-piece collection, Sustainable Beauty Travel Kit ($58), by Farmaesthetics will give you everything you need if you’re unfamiliar with the brand.
The kit includes the following:
Cool Aloe Mist – a clean aloe mist that cools and refreshes your skin
Deep Lavender Rub – A comforting rub that is formulated with heat-producing essential ginger oils, rosemary & eucalyptus, to help you relax & release upper respiratory tightness due to colds, allergies, stress or asthma
Eyebright Makeup Remover & Treatment Oil – A multi use product that deep conditions your skin to smooth fine lines, relieve eye strain and remove eye make up
Fine Herbal Cleanser – A cleanser made for all skin types, it won’t dry out your skin nor make it feel tight
Nourishing Lavender Milk – A light lotion to smooth and soothe your skin. It can also be used as a facial moisturizer
Hand To Heel Softening Salve – A calendula-based herbal balm that helps heal and soften dry, chapped and irritated skin
You can purchase this set on the Macys website or on the Farmaesthetics site
