I love shoes, I love luxury, I love luxury shoes. So, putting these two together just made my day. Hopefully it will make your day too. Well, until you realize these MM6 Maison Martine Margiela Toe Sock Sadals look ridiculous.
Someone please explain to me why I would want to wear a flat, with a spot for my toe with a leg warmer attached…that also costs $395. Seriously. This looks beyond ridiculous. I am all for fashion risks and rebellion, but I want to know who in the house of fashion said these shoes were alright to go to production.
They have a ruched knit jersey band over vamp with a soft and stretchy fabric encircling the lower leg and a sturdy stacked rubber sole. They cost $395 and you can get them at Eluxury.com. Beware though, if I know you bought them, I may write a blog about how ridiculous you look in them.
