Yesterday I mentioned very briefly that outerwear is worth the splurge. Whether your definition of a splurge for outerwear is $100 of $1000 there is no doubt that a black trench, no matter the price point is a great option for any fashionistas wardrobe. And if you’ve gone from a fashionista to a frugalista but haven’t lost your luxurious taste, then looking back to last year’s trenches and coats may not be such a bad option. Unless you’re running to a NY Fashion Week show, most people probably aren’t going to know that your coat is from last season.

That’s what picking up this Generra Drop Waist Trench would not be that bad of an idea if your pinching pennies and the fist colf front of the season has already arrived. The belt and brass tone detail make this classic trench a more fun then that black trench you would find at another retailer. It is a final sale though, so make sure it is exactly what you want. But, at $99 (as opossed to the original $395) it’s a definite winner.
