If you’re like me and you’re addicted to HBO’s Golden Globe nominated hit show “Dexter” you’ve probably noticed that one of it’s main character’s, Sergeant Angel Batista, played by David Zayas, is always rocking a fedora. I’ll give you some tips on how to get his signature look.

The hat to the left is the Jaxon Blues Crushable Fedora. It’s 100% wool and is flexible, making it easy for travel, or in this guy’s case, catching bad guys. You can get it in black, brown, navy and grey for $32 if you order it at Village Hat Shop.

Though, he’s got so many different styles, the detective and sergeant is probably most commonly seen in this type of style. It’s a light colored fedora with another feather.

This is the Panama Teardrop Fedora by Belfry Gable, on the right. One of it’s greatest features is that it’s water repellent. You can also remove the feather, so if it’s not your thing, then don’t worry about it. Because this hat is such high quality it will cost you a bit. The price on this fedora and feather is $78 at Hats in the Belfry.
