Get Ready For Cloche Season

Last year the cloche was a still a little bit edgy so most designers only had black versions available, but this Fall get ready for tons of amazing variations on this vintage-inspired style.  I have my black wool cloche from Fall 08 and I am definitely ready to start scoping out all of the many creative new designs that are starting to emerge.

Fun and expressive accessories are going to be extremely popular this season because they allow you to be fashionable without splurging for an entire outfit.  The cloche is a great hat to wear to add a stylish edge to your dress with tights and heels.  It looks great with a trench or pea coat.

Pins & Needles Felt Cloche in Raspberry $28

I love this thin felt cloche with a gathered pleat detail along the side and a big flat bow that melts into the design.  This bright raspberry color is fabulous, but it also comes in Spruce, Black, and Camel.

Kimchi Blue Starburst Cloche $29.99 (reg. $38)

This is another fabulous statement cloche from Urban Outfitters…and it’s currently on sale at an extremely affordable price.  I love the detail of the folded up brim for a new shape for the cloche and the oversized grosgrain flower piece.  If powder blue is not your color this is also available in black and a gorgeous burgundy.
