Is your holiday shopping going down to the wire?
Whether as a serious gift or as a lighthearted token of affection, how about giving a new book called “Hair Loss & Replacement For Dummies” to that special someone in your life who is perhaps starting to lose his (or her) hair?
After all, millions of men – and some women – are even now considering hair transplant surgery to offset balding (which, by the way, is sometimes an unwanted consequence of cosmetic facial surgery), yet have little idea what to ask of a prospective doctor or how to evaluate the veracity of what they’re being told.
In his new book, hair transplant surgeon Dr. William Rassman offers valuable tips on:
- Myth-busting information about the causes of hair loss and the benefits of FDA-approved treatments
- Helpful comparisons of the advantages of non-surgical and surgical hair replacement
- Advice for avoiding unscrupulous hair transplant doctors (interested in their bottom line than in a patient’s hair line) and potentially harmful products
I must say – it’s a surprisingly interesting (and scary!) read!
