Give MopShots a shot

While I’d generally never want to send any of you to a DIFFERENT hair blog, I figured in this case it would be OK since it’s also…well…me.
MopShots.com was just launched by Citysearch , and is pretty much a style-savvy “lookbook” showcasing the best work of salon stylists and colorists from all over the country.
The way it works: Users and consumers from across the country can also snap photos of their favorite hairstyles – on their friends, seen on the street – and submit them for review by The “MopShots Dictators,” style experts from across the fashion, beauty worlds and blogosphere. And here’s the fun part: I am one of those dictators! It’s super exciting because I am joined on the panel by some of the biggest names in hair and beauty.
The “MopShots Dictators” will review photo submissions, provide their expert style advice and select which images are featured on the site based on what trends catch their eye. With the style-finder tools, users can search for specific looks that fit their style and hair type, as well as filter results to find the best cuts from salons in their neighborhood.
