Go Bionic With Cole Haan

Cole Haan wants you to go “bionic” this summer!

Their new line of “Bionic” totes and purses is made with a unique yarn, made from recycled pop bottles.  Pop bottles have been used for years to create fabric, but Cole Haan is using a new process to make an ultra-sturdy fabric.

“Bionic yarn develops and manufactures premium quality yarns and fabrics made from 30-70% fibers of recycled plastic beverage bottles, through a special patented manufacturing method. Bionic yarn has durability, strength, and refined quality. It is available in either yarn form or fabric. The first step towards creating a healthier planet is made in the minds of the consumer.
