Have Spa Products, Will Travel

Every time I go on the road, I have this pathetic ziploc bag that I stuff my travel size product into – shampoo, conditioner, contact lens solution… stuff like that. After about three or four trips, that ziploc bag is starting to get a little worn, and I tend to forget one or two things that I really needed in that bag. It’s kind of a pain in the ass to be honest.

When Minimus sent me a Spa Treatment on the Go kit to review, I was initially skeptical. Why couldn’t I just create one of these packs myself, you know, clearly in my handy dandy ziploc bag. Because that’s worked so well to date. (Right)

As soon as I opened this shaving-kit sized kit, I realized how very cool it was. Minimus has packed so many useful little things into this kit, it’s kinda ridiculous. 26 seperate products, for a total of 28 items all said and done. Everything you think you might need, from Evian facial mist, earplugs, make up removal pads, to mini pedicure supplies. Everything included are brand names, just smaller than you’re used to.

I almost can’t wait to travel again I like this kit so much. I actually want to use the products in there so I can go shopping on the Minimus site to refill the bag with other products.

The site itself has thousands of brand name products, all in travel sizes, and under $2.00 a piece, for the most part. Some of the towelettes are only 28 cents each! You can create your own travel kit for less than $20.00, which, I can tell you, from experience, is cheaper than you can do it from the drug store.

Among the thousands of individual products that Minimus carries, they’ve also got several pre-made kits, much like the Spa on the Go. There’s a membership package for College kids that sends them a kit per month, January through April; a Bachelor’s Kit, an Ultimate Road Trip kit, all the way through to an Adventurer’s Medical Kit (I know someone who would be perfect for that one). Basically, if you know anyone who travels, is having a baby, is planning on randomly tackling Mt. Everest or maybe you and your boy are planning a weekend away…  there’s a Minimus kit for them, and you.
