Big and chunky jewelry seems to be the trend for Spring & Summer 2010 – at least according to the designers at Milan Fashion Week!
Jewelry is usually exaggerated for the runway, it’s awfully hard to see a delicate little chain on a model’s neck from across a big runway – but these necklaces are definitely on the generous end…
Blugirl layered multiple necklaces in different shades, shapes and sizes:

I think this is going to be a great summery look – keeping the necklaces in the same color will keep them from overwhelming the rest of your outfit.
Luciano Soprani adorned their models with a combination of chunky, colored chains and heavily embellished beaded panels for their necklaces:

Les Copains went for the heavy metal look with some serious medallions on their models:

I’d suggest scaling the pendant down a little and you’ve got a great necklace for next spring!
