How to wear jewelry with Pantone’s color of the year – Mimosa!

Pantone has released their color of 2009 and it’s a lush, bold yellow – “Mimosa“!
“The color yellow exemplifies the warmth and nurturing quality of the sun, properties we as humans are naturally drawn to for reassurance,” explains Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute®. “Mimosa also speaks to enlightenment, as it is a hue that sparks imagination and innovation.”
Yellow can be a tricky color to wear – but it doesn’t need to be! Wear yellow jewelry in moderation to add a flash of color and brighten your entire outfit. Just one piece is enough to add spark – but don’t go overboard and end up with your accessories overwhelming everything else!
