I Tried Loreal’s New Mascara With the Tubes

And now for something unrelated to scent, but still related to the Beauty and Style Channel……..
I picked up Loreal’s new mascara with the “tubes.” Loreal’s Double Extend Beauty Tubes Technology.
I wanted to see for myself how well it worked. I’m pretty impressed. I don’t know about an 80% boost in length, but my lashes do look much longer. I’m sure that with practice I will get the hang of the two brush system and be able to use the product more effectively.
It’s a two-step process that you perform on one eye completely, before applying to the other eye. It washes off very easily – no sticky leftover gunk. I appreciated that. Here’s my eye before the mascara, with a very neutral shadow and liner,

and then after…….

What do you think? I only used it on the top lashes. Are you wondering why I look so surprised? My daughter took these for me and I kept blinking with the flash. Oops. I’m more comfortable behind the camera, than in front of it.
The mascara is comfortable, which is important to me. It’s a little pricer than other drugstore mascaras, but it’s a drugstore mascara, so it’s not expensive. The process is simple. The results ae good. I would definitely buy it again.

Wow, what a difference. I soooo need that. Thanks for the before and after… it really helps to see products in use on ‘real’ people.
You can absolutely see the difference. I like L’Oreal products in general so maybe I’ll try this
Ladies, than you for commenting. I’m glad that you found it helpful. I can honestly say that I had no problem with flaking or anything all day. I think that it is a product that really works well.
I hope my huge eye didn’t scare you! ;D My daughter laughed when I showed her the photos. She said, you kept blinking that one eye……. ha!
That is impressive. When I’m not wearing mascara, it looks as if someone chopped them off with a pair of scissors. Yes, they are that short and that straight. I think that I’m coming to that 3 month, time to replace the tube, so I just might give this one a try. Your second photo looked amazingly natural.
Definitely made a difference. Your lashes look gorgeous and so evenly spaced out. I am almost out of my mascara. I just read about another mascara that I want to try. Hmmm…which one to try first.
Thank you, Julie. You, I’ve now been wearing the mascara for more than 13 hours and it looks as good as when I first put it on. I’d go for the Loreal.
Really a big difference. Probably I’ll try to use Loreal mascara.
Well, I bought it and tried it, put on a good thick layer of the white stuff and then of the black stuff. I truly do not recognize myself in the mirror!!!! It’s amazing! I am interested to see how it wears (it’s only been on a few hours), because I always have mascara on – I scare myself if I do not.
Did you try the mascara with the tubes? It sounds like that’s what you are describing. It’s some good stuff. A little tricky with the removal, but it works great. No flakes.
As does the Spinlash. Great mascara really makes you feel great – you look so much more awake.
i am trying to find a mascara that actually works…does this one? i would love to try it but im tired of trying newones and them not working anyone with any suggestions????
Brandy, I’m wearing the Loreal mascara that I wrote about in this post right now. It really works well.
I tried the new Loreal mascara and OMG it burned the outer corners of my eyes. My eyes starting tearing after about 10minutes and it just wouldn’t stop!!!!! My sister tried it too and she had the very same experience!!!
Ariana, that is horrible!! Have you had reactions to other mascaras? Did you buy it some place that you could take it back? If not, then I’d write to the manufacturer.
There must be something in there that you are having an allergic reaction to.
