Infrared Massage Beds. My Kind of Heaven!

Imagine climbing into a bed, that acts like an infrared sauna and has massage rollers that massage you from calves to neck… all while you just lie there and relax.
The Abaton Halo Infrared Massage Beds may very well be the greatest thing to hit North American spa culture since the hot stone massage (are you sensing a theme here? I do love my heated massages).
The sauna massage bed features a new, one piece design which allows the jade massage rollers in the bed to roll the full length of your body without being seen or requiring any major adjustments before settling in for a massage.
These jade rollers combine with the heat to perform something called Moxibustion (acupressure with heat), and offers some incredible health benefits, including increased circulation which helps to detoxify muscles and cells, and the benefits of just good massage, which is one of the oldest and most effective forms of healing in the history of medicine. Plus, it reduces stress, provides a break from the work-a-day world and just feels good!
The moxibustion that the jade rollers contribute to can provide specific benefits as well – from relief from muscle pain, assist in the proper running of your metabolism and immune system, and to stimulate a rich flow of oxygen and nutrient supply to your body’s organs.
What is different about the Abaton Halo Infrared Massage Beds is the heating system on the top of the bed which is made from a top grade carbon fiber produces far infrared rays that penetrates up to 2” into the body. Known health benefits of far infrared include not only detoxification and weight loss but also relief from pain, Arthritis, sprains, muscular skeletal ailments, skin conditions, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and a host of other daily stresses linked to health issues.
And again, it just feels good. I tried the bed out at the Wellness Show in Vancouver and didn’t want to leave. It was delightful, and all I could do to stop myself from ordering one on the spot.
I have to admit, the approximate $3,000 price tag was a bit of an impulse buy stopper for me, as well as the fact that I do have a bit of a space crunch, but if I’d had the space (and this doesn’t take up a lot of room – it’s only 29″ wide x 81″ long x 33″ high) and the ability to plunk down the cash right then and there, I would have done it in a heart beat.
There’s nothing special required to run the bed, and in fact, it’s designed to plug into a standard household outlet.
This is a beautiful, beautiful experience, and one I would recommend that you try, the instant you get an opportunity! If they don’t have a dealer or tradeshow happening near you, call and have them ship you a bed today! Seriously, it’s gorgeous, and is hands down, one of the best massages I’ve ever had.

I’m always looking a new and innovative ways to improve the whole massage experience. This certainly sounds like a great device. I’ll certainly be trying it out
