Innocence Felted Bolero by TianaCHE

Most modern wedding gowns are strapless. There are of course, oodles of exceptions, but walk into any bridal shop and I guarantee you that at least half of the dresses you see will be strapless. Here in the south, that percentage seems to go up even higher, with the predominant dress design being strapless, corsetted, and with a princess skirt. Nothing’s wrong with any of this, obviously, and trends will come and go, but my real question is: how will we wear them come fall?
We’ll wear them with boleros, and wraps, and shrugs. Perhaps even opera length gloves. In any case, we will definitely need our shoulders covered, and this felted wool bolero by TianaCHE does just that with an extra big serving of sass. I love the bold molded flowers all over this piece. I think it would really rock a simple sheath gown, or would be the cherry on top of one of those dresses with multi-layered petal-y skirts. The high neck gives it an air of elegance that is often lacking in your run of the mill shrug, and the thick material won’t lose its shape under even the most demanding bridal conditions. Available for $220 from TianaCHE.
