One of the first bags I bought myself was a black bag (a black LV Epi Speedy, to be specific) and it has seen me through a lot of years and seasons. There is nothing more versatile than a black handbag. No matter what the occasion or dress code, a black bag will always look fresh, appropriate and stylish.
I was on the Anthroplogie website today and noticed this lovely bag by Jonathan Liberty.
The Sense of Touch Tote ($228) is a beautiful soft leather bag with cool knotted straps. The bag has pretty quilted detail on the front and measures a nice and roomy 13″H, 16″W, 3.5″D. The interior is cotton lined and features a magnetic snap closure and three panel pockets.
This would be a wonderful bag to take you from the office to dinner with friends. It’s stylish and big enough to hold everything but not too big that it will get in the way. The knotted straps are a fun detail. Imagine the knot would be something to hold on to when maneuvering your way through a crowded street or mall.
This is definitely a wonderful bag to invest in.
