Just Pretty Feet Review: Home Pedicure Products

I recently got to check out a new product from Spa Sisters called Just Pretty Feet. I adore a good pedicure whether home or at the nail salon, and I was all over this when I got it.Â
The package comes with almost everything you’d need to give yourself a pedicure – foot polish, foot creme, toe seperators and the most comfy fluffy slippers I’ve worn.Â
Unfortunately, the slippers were the best thing in the entire package.Â
Now, I’ve got some pretty rough feet. Everytime I go get a pedicure, my heels and almost anywhere that my foot touches the ground, gets shaved a bit. It’s actually pretty gross, but it feels fantastic. Basically what it means however, is that my feet tend to be immune to easy little polishes etc. Â I am a barefoot girl, what can I say?
The instructions for the Just Pretty Feet set are that you use the Detoxifying Pomegranate Foot Polish first, in a circular motion and then rinse off. The polish itself is more … watery almost than I expected. It’s certainly not as grainy as I expected, and started to slide as soon as I put it on my foot to try out. My husband just looked at me and told me I smelled like furniture polish – so this is apparently more lemony than it is pomegranatey.Â
The Foot Butter is also not as thick as I expected, despite it’s description being “ultra thick and creamy”. I did what the instructions said, despite my experience with the polish. I thought this one might be a bit different… yeah, not so much. My “generous application” as I was told, was too much, and didn’t absorb nearly as well as I thought it would. End result? The product went up one calf and onto the other foot. Now I just feel kinda slippery.
The one other problem I had with the product wasn’t with the product itself, but with the packaging. The safety seal was tough to get loose and I had a hell of a time getting the cap snapped closed again.
All of that said, I would definitely try another Spa Sisters or it’s parent company, Bath Accessories product…I’m just not a fan of this one. I’m always willing to give a line one more try, just not this one.Â
End result? I’d pass on this one.
