Okay ladies, I need your opinion please.
Running shoes on the red carpet – yea, or nay?
I realize that the MTV Movie Awards are a “youthful, casual” award show – but how casual is too casual?
I know Twilight star, Kristin Stewart, gets a lot of flak these days – but I just can’t help wishing that instead of these shoes:
She would have slipped on a pair more like this:

The Stuart Weitzman black dress sandal has an easy to walk in 2″ heel (perfect for nervous young starlets… and the rest of us!) and is made from a sleek black matte satin – very flattering.

I thought she looked great personally, her dress sort of had the whole ‘vampire’ theme going on and the converse? one, she sprained her ankle and even 2″ heels could be painful during that. and two, thats just sort of her style I think, the tomboy-goes-chic thing, she can pull it off so why bother arguing over it? lol.
I adore that Kristin Stewart can put on a nice dress and a pair of her signiture Converse without a worry about what we think. I liked it, it was very representative of her personality. This wasn’t the Oscars…have fun. I don’t know why there are comments on her clothing being vampirish. I don’t think her clothing had a thought out theme. I think she is dressing like herself.
Ick – I hated it. The dress had a lot of potential, but what was up with her hair..!! I just thought she looked/acted sloppy the whole time.
Definitely sloppy! She could’ve a least worn some cute ballet flats. Those are just as comfy as Chucks.
Ugh! I hate the look. What made me laugh is she can’t be wearing them for comfort. Chuck Taylors aren’t even that comfortable.
I don’t really like anything about the outfit, the belt makes her body look more “stumpy” (for lack of a better word).
I agree – makes her legs look short. And what’s with all the goth makeup if you’re going tomboy dress? She could have rocked a fun short black dress instead.
She’s taking the vampire bit a little too far hehe.
Ugh hate it too. I think the dress was pretty bad to begin with, so the terrible shoes and hair only made it worse.

I actually really liked her look. It has a very just rolled out of bed look that she pulled off well. She always has this DGAF attitude that i love
Can I ask you something?Why people are so bad nowadays???The fact that she is a celebrity doesn’t mean that she is perfect!She has the right to wear whatever she wants and whatever is comfortable and beautiful to HER!It’s not a bad thing that she wants to be unique.I don’t mind if you don’t agree with my opinion because it is MY opinion and everyone has his own.
i loved it but who are we to say what Kristen should and shouldn’t wear its her style and personally i like that shes dressing like herself rather then putting on a “monkey suit” that isnt her. to me it just shows how down to earth she really is =]
i think she looked amazing. i love her style and i love her boldness. my favorite part of that outfit is the shoes. i think she looked amazing at the mtv movie awards.
Apparently Joan Jett actually gave Kristin Stewart those Chucks, so that definitely ups the cool factor
It’s not Kristin, it’s KristEn….I’d like her dress,she was so herself and U should look at her.
You can’t make her to be something she isn’t.She is a teenage girl,who is showing us,accsually teaching us,to be ourself.Don’t care about people thought,oppinions are diffrent and U should do and wear whatever U want if U like it on a way U want to like it.Hope U understand me!lol
