Life-Changing Products!

I’m starting a series about products I tried in the past year or so that were just unbeatably good. Think of it like Oprah’s Favorite Things, only they’re items you can actually afford to buy YOURSELF. Today! They also happen to smell great!
A worst case scenario for me is a product that works wonderfully but stinks. Right now I’m specifically thinking of Ojon’s hair treatment – it smells like stale cigarette smoke, and what perfumista can stand to reek like that, even for good hair days???!!!
So…without further ado: my top five faves from this past year.
Weighing in at #5 – Watkins Shea Butter hand moisturizer,Lemon Creme. If I could buy every man, woman, and child a tube of this lotion, the world might be a better place. It smells like lemon cookies, tames dry cuticles and doesn’t leave hands greasy. I love shea butter, and this is one of the best products on the market at an affordable price. It’s only about $6.99 at Target. The tube I bought almost a year ago is still going strong although I’ve had other products to use at the same time. I wouldn’t hesitate to say this is a “desert island” type product. Give me this and some ramen noodles, and I could go for a looong time. It’s also great for a post-pedicure feet treat.
