Marc Jacobs Bruna Double Quilted Satchel

I like this Marc Jacobs bag but there’s something about it that’s preventing me from ‘loving’ it. While the Marc by Marc Jacobs line is the more ‘consumer-friendly’ line this bag, the Marc Jacobs Bruna Double Quilted Satchel bag is from his main collection.

From the quilted grained leather, the golden brass hardware with the rolled leather handles, you can tell right away this Marc Jacobs satchel is luxurious. The satchel shape is classic, the size 14″x 11.5″x 6″ is not too big.  However, I feel the leather belt and buckle around the bag is a bit much. I don’t think it needs that detail to make it look good.  In any case, it’s a very smart looking bag and the Beige colour is beautiful and versatile. I’m definitely a Marc Jacobs‘ fan and the material and craftsmanship is excellent. Get the Bruna Double Quilted Satchel now at eLuxury for $1295
