Marc Jacobs Stardust Shoulder Bag

Marc Jacobs is going all out! His fall handbag line up feature embellishments such as studs, patent leather etc. They’re all quite fancy and apropos for the season.  One of the bags I found to be really impressive from the Marc Jacobs Fall ‘09 handbag collection is this shoulder bag.

The Marc Jacobs Stardust Shoulder Bag is shown here in Clay but is also available in black or purple leather. So far no photos of the black or purple version just yet which is unfortunate as I’m definitely curious as to how much of a deep or light shade the purple is. The shoulder bag measures 6″H X 7 1/2″H X 2″D and is pretty simple as far as the overall design goes.  It reminds me a lot of the Chanel 2.55 shoulder bag. Marc Jacob’s version features quilted top-stitching complemented with gold tone studs and hardware.  The chain shoulder strap and logo-embossed push lock closure on the flap front is also a nice touch.
