Milly Fall Bubble Dress

It took me some time to come around to bubble dresses. Last summer some friends and I were bored so we decided to go window shopping. After gawking at luxurious handbags and shoes we ran in to Macy’s and picked out some dresses that were ridiculously trendy that we wouldn’t be caught dead in. One of those dresses was the bubble dress.  We took up all of the rooms in the dressing area and on the count of three we showed off our horrible dresses and snapped a picture for our cell phone wallpapers. I believe those dresses hit the clearance racks soon after our shopping extravaganza, but the bubble dress is still around.

After that day with my friends, I realized that we may laugh at trends, but in all honesty, lots of us wear them and after some time these trends become part of everyday fashion. And this laughter turns from overt giggles to smiles because we all love the look. And dear bubble dress, I love you. I especially love you when you’re done by Milly.

Check it out. This Summer look that shows off great legs and arms looks even better with tights and ankle boots. The Milly Bouclé Bubble Dress is perfection.  The “bubble” isn’t too huge either so it isn’t going to ride up your butt (which is why the bubble dress makes me laugh….girls don’t know how to wear it right!). It is 20 inches from the natural waist, which makes it work appropriate. It is on sale for $236 at Sak’s Fifth Avenue.
