Mineral Essence Retractable Kabuki Brush

Another brush that I really like is the Mineral Essence Retractable Kabuki Brush. It’s one miracle worker because it’s simply the woman on the go’s dream come true makeup brush. Why?

Well for one, it’s retractable! It has a cover that would protect the bristles from being deformed, as well as protect the brush from getting dirty , when exposed. When you check out the lid, you’d be even more in love with it, because it has a mirror! It would surely win the hearts of loose powder fanatics out there as one problem that loose powder lovers face is that they don’t have mirrors attached to their makeup pots!

Then, we go to how it functions as a makeup brush, most importantly. I have noticed that the bristles are very short, and the bristles dont bend because of the shortness, and it’s very very dense. I suggest to make sure that loose powder is tapped well because applying too much would pretty much cause a disaster because of this really “packed” brush. Mineral foundation fanatics would also love on how this would apply foundation beautifully, and giving great coverage instantly because of its short bristles. Overall, use a light hand for both retouching and applying foundation.

Ooh, but I want more makeup brushes! A beauty gizmo addict can never be content!

I bought this brush because it looked cool and the top of the cap has a built-in mirror. Plus I have a thing for retractable brushes. Well, for $35 plus S/H, this brush was a dud. Didn’t have it for not even a month and the side of the case cracked. Mind you I did not not carry it with me or was rough with it -I used it only at home. Not only that the bristles were very densely packed and not soft. My face broke out in a rash. What a waste of money.

Also ordered samples of their MMU. Was not impressed at all – very very limited color range – nothing in between. Very disappointed by this brand.
