Modcloth’s Twelvsies Tuesdays Sale!

Modcloth is a great place to shop for reasonably priced vintage reproductions and indie labels. They always have something cute that catches my eye. And now they’re instituting “Twelvsies Tuesdays”, a weekly sale where 12 items are 12% off. These are newish items, not older stock, like your usual sale. In other words, things that won’t be on sale if you check back on Wednesday, so I feel like it is my duty to spread the word.
This Tamburitzan vest was inspired by Eastern European folk dancers. It does have a little bit of that yodel-y, Sound of Music sort of appeal, but in a good way. As a vest, I like it for its unusual shape. A lot of vests are so long they obscure your waist, but this one will nip it right in. On sale today for $33.43 from ModCloth.
These Lindy Hop shorts have a lot going for them. Not too short, not too long. They’re also a lovely shade of grey, and the tailored shape makes them wearable a lot of different ways, and well into fall with tights. Available for $42.23 from ModCloth.
