As many blog posts will note today, the fashion industry is mourning the loss of an icon, Yves Saint Laurent. The industry of fashion has become a totally different place because of this one man and the changes that he made.

I’ve never been a fan of his handbag line, ONLY because it was way out of my price range, so I’ve really never considered it. But while scouring the ‘net, I came across this page at Purse-N-Boots.com that showcases some of Mr. Laurent’ high-end bags. VERY nice looking bags and almost affordable on a few. I imagine now that the icon has deceased, there will be a revival of sorts with his fashion line, including these designer handbags.

If there are sales or highlights on his line, I will definitely keep you all posted. In the meantime, does anyone here already own a Yves Saint Laurent bag? Just wondering.

He definitely re-defined fashion. I have one Yves Saint Laurent bag. It’s a simple gold clutch. All YSL bags are pretty structured and classic. This particular clutch was out of my price range too, but I got it as a gift.
