New Spring Sandals from Coach

I’m such a sucker for pretty sandals – especially if they have feminine details like these enameled flowers:

Soft leather flowers and bright, cheerful colors?  Oh yes please:

I loved the butterfly detail on this shoe, but then I took a second look – it’s a jelly shoe:

I don’t know if it’s just bad memories from childhood, but I recall jelly shoes looked wonderful on the shelf, but always gave me terrible blisters.  If I could get over the blisters to wear them more than once or twice, they seemed to fall apart really quickly.

So am I being paranoid about jelly shoes?  Is 20 years enough time for shoe manufacturers to have made a jelly shoe that not only looks pretty, but is comfortable?

I need your opinion please!
