I love Marchesa for their timeless, feminine evening wear. I can almost never afford their upper crust prices, but this Ideeli sample sale has prices that are up to 75% retail. The dresses are amazing, but they’re selling out fast. Like I was looking at four dresses this morning that are now totally sold out, so check it out soon.
This short strapless number has a fabulous swingy skirt that’s perfect for dancing the last days of summer away. Marked down to $269 from $1,050.
This black halter gown is old hollywood glamorous and totally runway ready. I love the lace and velvet trim at the waist, and the full, elegant skirt. Marked down to $199 from $840.

I can’t speak for the legitimacy of ideeli’s business practices. I assumed that they were buying their merchandise in a legal way, but I have no affiliation with the company and no insight in to how they do business. In their FAQ, it states the consumer can “Rest assured that we have definitive proof of the source of every item we sell.” But it doesn’t actually state what their sources are. If anyone has any information about this, please post it.
The previous poster and I discussed this via email. She is, apparently, an employee of Marchesa, who did not approve of ideeli selling their line at discount prices. I, obviously, would not mean to encourage anyone to buy any illicit merchandise. I will contact ideeli and ask them what their buying policies are.
